One Month Recap of College

College terms over here are 11 weeks long so we have already done midterms and even though I am only doing 3 classes, the time feels very busy along with spending much time doing homework assignments. My class choices this term were Introduction to Computer Science, Networking Essentials, and Introduction to Microsoft operating system.

Introduction to Computer Science: This class is supposed to cover concepts on the surface while following Computer Science Illuminated by Nell Dale and John Lewis however followed the book for the first about 5 chapters and then started to go in-depth about Python programming (including needing to know how to code). Classwork includes discussion boards and take-home assignments. Discussion boards for me are the easiest of the two. Currently the take-home assignments are consisting of needing to develop a code to put into Python that will produce a certain output which are assignments are laid out of what the output is supposed to say or supposed to indicate. The latest one was doing the Rock, Paper, Scissors game and ensure it included the for count loop. Programming is not my thing I would say since takes me quite a while to accomplish. Discussion boards have been over computer ethics, qualities that employees would like to see in the computer science field, and the such like.
